This is a repost of Top 10 of 2011…Can’t Wait for in 2012 on December 30, 2011
Here is the method to my madness. You’ll notice that I picked mostly series and mostly sequels. No debut authors. Why? Because I don’t know if I’ll like them. I hope I do and can’t wait to give them a read. But you can only REALLY-SERIOUSLY-ANTICIPATE someone who has proved themselves tried and true. So everyone I picked is someone I’ve read and am caught up on their series or they have a new series or book coming out. So I didn’t pick the 21st Anita Blake book, because I am on book 8. Also, I did 12 for balance and listed them by release date. Links will take you to Goodreads so you can add them. Got it.
Bloodrose (Nightshade #3) by Andrea Cremer. January 3. Calla and Ren are going to cause me break my broke woman book buying ban right out of the gates. Wolfsbane…talk about a cliff hanger. Even after reading the teaser she gave us…biting nails.
Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler. January 3. Totally loved Twenty Boy Summer. So I am hooked.
A Million Suns (Across the Universe #2) by Beth Revis. January 10. OMG! Another monstrous cliffhanger. What is Amy going to do?
The Nightmare Garden (Iron Codex #2) by Caitlin Kittredge. February 14. A very unique steampunk dystopian. A really liked the two main characters. Interested to see where it is going to go.
Fair Game (Alpha & Omega #3) by Patricia Briggs. March 6. Talk about anticipation, probably my most anticipated adult book. I love my wolves. I love Anna and Charles almost as much as I love Mercy and Adam.
Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore. March 22. It’s Christopher Moore and has Van Gogh on the front, need I say more?
The Last Echo (The Body Finder #3) by Kimberly Derting. April 17. So can’t wait for Violet and Jay. What is going to happen to Violet with this whole supernatural agency thing?
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa. April 24. New Series. I have said it many times on my blog, I will follow Julie Kagawa any where.
Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse #12) by Charlaine Harris. May 1. What’s going to happen next? Hopefully some happy times ahead.
Bitterblue (The Seven Kingdoms #3) by Kristin Cashore. May 1. Probably my most anticipated YA book of the year. Where will Kristin take us? I am assuming it will be after Graceling. Will Katsa and Po meet again?
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) by Cassandra Clare. May 8. Crazy cliffhangers again. You can’t leave us with a maybe evil or bad Jace. He is good…do you hear me?
Thirteen (Women of the Otherworld #13) by Kelley Armstrong. July 5. Love every ounce of this series. She said this may be the end. *tears*
