Comfort Reads: Which books do return to?
I haven’t reached that point in my reading life where I find myself needing to revisit past books I’ve read. There are books that at some point I would like to reread, like the Harry Potter series, but it isn’t happening anytime soon. But my daughter rereads ALL THE TIME. It sort of drives me crazy. She stops in the middle of books, has many books going at the same time and rereads. But I can’t complain, because she is reading. These are some of her favorites to reread.

OMG, is she masochistic? I can’t reread the Hunger Games, even though I’m a HUGE rereader myself. Especially at nights.. I can’t fall asleep, sometimes I’m even up for DAYS (one time it took me four days and a not several doses of sleeping pills over two days to finally fall asleep.) and when everything gets really quiet, and you know that you’re the only person who’s still wide awake.. well, then rereading is a great thing. ;D
Patricia // My Hop
I just reread The Hunger Games, and I’ve reread Harry Potter a few times. That was before I actually had a full list of books to read though!
I actually reread quite a bit, although I haven’t been doing that as of late. It’s fun to revisit old “friends” and old “haunts” in these books.
I’m not a big re-reader either, but my step-soon is. I think he’s read Harry Potter at least 10x.
