She doesn’t see dead people. She senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.

Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about her need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who’ll be next. (Source: Goodreads)

I am definitely late in the Soul Screamers game, but I’m finally in it. This is a fun series that instantly pulls you in. Kaylee is easy to like. She is living as a guest in her uncle’s house. Her aunt and cousin, Sophie, are in the perfect category. All about appearances and status, which for me is perfectly annoying. Kaylee also has great friends. But she has a secret and it has landed her in the Funny Farm at least once.

When three girls drop dead causing Kaylee’s hysterical need to scream announcing their doom, she is worried that she losing her mind for real. In walks tall, dark and handsome and more importantly he may have answers. “Notch on the headboard” Nash swoops in to save the day. He is easy on the eyes and quite kissable, but she questions “why me?” “why now?” Not only does Kaylee need answers about herself, but about three dead girls. These two are fun to follow as they investigate the paranormal and find out who is on the naughty list. Their insta-love is forgiven due to their paranormal draw to each other. Rachel can make a kissing scene steamilicious. But I foresee another bid for Kaylee’s heart and can’t wait to continue to series to find out.

A SCREAM can set you free.

  1. I should really make more of an effort to read this series. I read the first one when it first came out and enjoyed it, but don’t remember what happens. I do remember adoring Tod though!

  2. I have read the first two and really enjoyed them. I was a late bloomer to this series too. Great review!

  3. Haven’t read this series yet, but it sounds really fun. Maybe I’ll try this one for Halloween. Hope you like the next book just as well!

  4. I love this series. I also love Todd. He is awesome. If you have not read this whole series you really should. This is on top of my favorite series list. :)
