[Let's Talk] How Big is Your Bookshelf?

Originally hosted by Melissa from i swim for oceansSmash & Kt took her original inspiration, and made it their own, expanding it to more than just books. Let’s get personal (but respectfully so) and learn more about one another! Link up your posts and visit other people’s responses. This meme is definitely meant to bring out conversation and meet new people. So, Let’s Talk!

How many books do you own (keepers) and how many are in your to-be-read pile? Feel free to include pictures! (Thank you, Doville!)

I have at least 500 books on my shelves, whether they are keepers or TBRs. I don’t have a solid count, because not all the books on my daughter’s shelves are on my Goodreads’ shelves.

This is kind of my YA Keeper Shelf. If I read a YA book that is either a KEEPER or one I want my kiddo to read, it stays. If it is a book that is meh, I usually donated it to my school library.

This is The Kid’s Keeper Shelf. There are a few books on there she hasn’t read, but most are MUCH LOVED books.

LT shelves C

This is mostly my Physical TBR Book Shelf. The top right shelf is signed books. Most of the them are READ and LOVED, but some are just signed. The bottom left shelf is my Adult LOVED series. Everything else is a TBR book.

  1. Oooh I love how your bookshelves are organized! Mine have turned into kind of a mess :( Just adding too many books and not a lot of space!!!

  2. Today’s question is kind of making me feel better. It’s not just me that has way too many books that I don’t even have time to read.

  3. You make me miss all my books currently sitting in storage…can’t wait to get a house…with bookshelves… ;)

  4. My books are only organized by series… I obviously need more shelves. I could have taken pics for my post but it is way too embarrassing. *sigh*

  5. Your shelves are hella neat, too! You and I have a lot of TBRs in common!

  6. Your hardbacks are absolutely lovely. Do you try to buy in hardback or is it reserved for special books?
