First, the fact that there was a shout out to Dimebag Darrell of Pantera at the beginning caught my eye. My hubs was sneaking to see them at Joe’s Garage when they were still cutting their teeth and before they made it big. The hubs is also a musician and songwriter. So I really appreciated the care Olivia gave to honoring The Sinners as artists and their process.
The perfect situation presents itself when Myrna a Human Sexuality Professor meets Master Sinclair and his gifted fingers. Myrna is still recovering from an abusive ex-husband, but she still wields strength and confidence in such a way that makes you say “damn this chick is sexy.” But because of the importance of her career and no desire to sacrifice herself for another man, she is only looking for some fun at the hands of Brian. Brian is a gifted musician. Passion, Emotions and Feelings are necessary for inspiration and him to create. He has been in a drought until Myrna walks into his life. So he takes what she has to give, even though he has to deny who he is which is a one woman man.
Yep, this is what well done erotica looks like. We have the perfect situation. Passionate and Hot. Brian will have to show Myrna that they are worth it. Worth getting over her piece of shit ex. Worth working around both of their careers. And it will take LOTS of Sexy Times to break down those walls and opening up and letting each other be vulnerable to the other and that trust not be abused. I never felt that the sex was gratuitous, crass or demeaned either partner.
I’ve failed to mention that all the supporting characters are fully fleshed out and I so look forward to reading the sequel books focusing in each and every one of them. Backstage Pass establishes back stories for the other bandmates that has me anxious to see how Olivia opens up their wounds and hearts and spills the contents out for us.
Brian “Master” Sinclair’s fabulous fingers wrapped around my heart and didn’t disappoint.

Oh I loved this one too
I just sighed a lot and wished to meet a rock star like Brian.
Agreed.
I kind of want to know more about her Sex Psychology & Music research she was presenting at the conference. That’s kind of geeky of me, huh?
Looks good! The music tie-in appeals to me, and how cool that each book focuses on a different band member. Will need to track this down sometime.
I thought it was unique & had a lot of depth for erotica. But I’m kind of a light weight in the genre.
