Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors…
John Green. I’ve bought everything he has published. I’ve read all but one of his books and loved them all so far. I love the voice he gives his characters. They are so smart and push the reader to think more not less of young adults.
Cassandra Clare. No one can capture you in a web of world building quite like she does. She can break your heart and you’ll still be back for more.
Stephanie Perkins. There are only 2, but a promise of more. She delivers depth with her light and lovable characters.
Richelle Mead. She is a master of the love story. I am talking EPIC love.
Patricia Briggs. Her world of all things supernatural feels so real.
Jonathan Maberry. No one can make you crave a zombie apocalypse like he can.
Kristin Cashore. EPIC Fantasy. You’ll feel like you’ve been there. She turns a meaty 500 page book into a page turner.
Ally Carter. Fun teen spy and thief books that mothers and daughters can enjoy together.
Julie Kagawa. Her witty, humorous dialogue brings me and my daughter together for a trek through Nevernever.
Rick Riordan. Though I’m grossly behind in the original series, my daughter has read them all. There is no questioning it, the next one will be on our shelf too.

great list! so many good ones. Too many to add to one list for sure. my top ten http://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2013/02/teaser-tuesday-45-and-top-ten-tuesday-35.html
I love your list! A few of those are on my list too
So hard to pick just 10.
I was thinking if I could come up with 10 yesterday and didn’t even want to try LOL
Great list! Patricia Briggs and Julie Kagawa are also on my auto-buy list. Ally Carter didn’t quite make the list for me though, as her Gallager Girl series isn’t my cup of tea. From what I’ve read John Green, Richelle Mead, Stephanie Perkins and Kristin Cashore are awesome too.
I put Ally, because me & the kid love Heist Society. She is a Gallagher Girls fan. I haven’t tried it & probably won’t. But a must buy bc of the kid.
So glad someone else but Kagawa. LOVE the Iron Fey! ~Kristina
It is such a fun series. I need to dive into her vampires.
We have some authors in common – go us! Ally Carter and Julie Kagawa are two I probably should have added to the list. Love their books.
I just loved your list. You definitely influence my reads.
Ally Carter would have been 11 on my list. It hurt to leave her off.
